Locally owned fitness center Slash Fitness understands the importance of creating a unique and fun experience for its clients in addition to providing desired results. In the competitive fitness industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, Slash Fitness continued to provide value to its clients and community with its #BetterTogetherDelray campaign, a 21-day virtual fitness challenge designed to help activate local businesses as well as improve health within the community. BlueIvy Communications was brought on to assist with the campaign and secure positive media placements in the local media.


Through proactive and strategic public relations, BlueIvy Communications crafted a press release promoting #BetterTogetherDelray to the local media as well as designed creatives for social media, provided copy for additional content and more. Example news topics include: “Fitness center offers donation-based challenge,” and “Delray Beach gym starts ‘fitness challenge’ to support neighboring businesses.” Local outlets such as the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Delray Sun and NBC’s WPTV News Channel 5 covered the campaign.
