Goal

Locally-owned retail store Fleet Feet Sports Delray Beach understands the importance of creating a customer experience in addition to selling products. With the competitive retail environment and the presence of endless online shopping options, Fleet Feet Sports Delray Beach came to BlueIvy Communications with the want to own the Delray Beach market, create memorable in-store experiences for its customers and the community, and secure positive media coverage in the local media.

Results

BlueIvy Communications worked in conjunction with the Fleet Feet Sports Delray team to create timely, educational and fun in-store experiences; proactively promote said events to the local media; and finally share video and photos after each event. Sample events and news topics included: “Global Running Day” Community Run; Talk & Presentation by Badwater 135 finisher Frank McKinney; Self-Defense Instruction for Runners; Safety Tips and Products for Female Runners; and an Intro to Triathlons for Women session. Local outlets, such as the Delray Forum, Sun-Sentinel, The Palm Beach Post, CBS WPEC 12, and ABC WPBF 25 covered the events.
